On Sunday 19th December, a group of St Albans Homework Club children celebrated the end of year with an excursion to the Ballarat Wildlife Park.
The trip was generously supported by St Patrick’s College, with their homework club tutors taking time out from exam studies to guide the children through the animal exhibitions, cook up a delicious barbecue lunch, and engage in some fun play at a local park. The children made some great connections with tutors outside of the classroom setting and enjoyed themselves immensely.
We would like to extend a big thank you to the parents who were involved in the activities for their tremendous support, Brother Trevor for his assistance and St Patrick’s College for facilitating the entire day’s activities.
